Luca Paci
Luca is a transligual poet, translator and lecturer. He teaches Italian at Cardiff University and is widely published as an academic and poet. He is Co-director of the Italian Cultural Centre Wales and the Italian Film Festival Cardiff. He has recently translated Bondo by Menna Elfyn (2021, Ludo) and edited two poetry anthologies, Alibi (2022, Ensemble) and Tempo: Excursions into Italian 21st Century Poetry (2022, Parthian). He has published with Chris Glynn the absurdist book Self Help I(s)land (2022, Hadron Press). Interview with Luca on Nation Cymru here.
Luca è un poeta translingue, traduttore e docente; insegna italiano all'Università di Cardiff ed è autore di numerose pubblicazioni come accademico e poeta. Dal 2015 è co-direttore dell’ Italian Cultural Centre Wales e dell'Italian Film Festival Cardiff. E’ anche parte dell’esecutivo dell’ organizzazione di scrittori Wales PEN Cymru. Ha collaborato con diversi artisti e poeti in Italia, Inghilterra, Scozia e Galles. Luca lavora in inglese, italiano e gallese. Recentemente ha tradotto Bondo di Menna Elfyn (2021, Ludo) e ha curato due antologie di poesia, Alibi (2022, Ensemble) e Tempo: Excursions into Italian 21st Century Poetry (2022, Parthian). Chris Glynn
Chris is an artist, performer and educator who illustrates conversations and events for clients in arts and health. After teaching music, then freelancing in animation, illustration and arts education, he set up and led the BA Hons. Illustration course at Cardiff School of Art & Design and co-founded the Illustration Research network and Journal of Illustration (Intellect). He is an Honorary Senior Research Fellow in the School of Medicine at Cardiff University, collaborating with the University of Namibia and Cambridge University Research Hospitals in 2021-22. Chris è un artista, musicista ed educatore che illustra conversazioni ed eventi per clienti del settore artistico e medico. Dopo aver insegnato musica e aver lavorato come freelance nel campo dell'animazione, dell'illustrazione e dell'educazione artistica, ha creato e diretto il corso BA Hons. Illustration presso la Cardiff School of Art & Design e ha co-fondato l’associazione Illustration Research e il Journal of Illustration (Intellect). Ha collaborato a diversi progetti con varie università britanniche. Tra i suoi lavori più importanti c’è la collaborazione con la University of Namibia e la Cambridge University Research Hospitals (2021-22).
